4th VA: Re.7.2.4a: Analyze components in visual imagery that convey messges.
Step One

Students will sketch out a water bottle on their paper. Students can reference their own water bottle or reference pictures of water bottles on an ipad/computer. In a classroom setting, teachers can cut a water bottle template from cardboard for students to trace as well.

Step Two

Students will trace their water bottle with a permanent marker and add color using MARKER OR COLORED PENCIL. Students can experiment with color, line, shape, and pattern in this step to design their 2D water bottle.

Step Three

Students will sketch out their name in block letters AND an image that best represents each of the three components of their self concept on sticker OR label paper. Students will trace their name and drawings with a permanent marker and add color.

Step Four

Students will cut out their water bottle and cut out their stickers using the scissors. Students will place their stickers on the 2D water bottle.

Extra: Students can use extra store-bought stickers to add an extra flair to their water bottle!
