Preschool Cow Art Project

Project Objective

This cow-inspired artwork emphasizes the skills of drawing and gluing.

Step One

Prepare the tray by drawing around the Art to Remember paper to show the size. Remove the paper and draw a horizontal line from edge to edge of the green rectangle.

Step Two

Fill in the lower portion of the rectangle with the green marker. Then fill the top portion with a blue paint stick (a blue marker could be used as well).

Step Three

Spray the tray with water.

Step Four

Press the background paper onto the tray. Rub hands over the back several times.

Step Five

Pull the paper off from the tray and allow it to dry completely before moving on to the next step.

Create the cow!

Step One

Draw small black dots onto the 3X4 inch paper. Brush water onto the black dots. Allow dry time.

Step Two

Color in the lower half of the oval with pink. Then use a black marker to make two dots on the top portion for eyes, and two on the pink portion for nostrils.

Step Three

Glue the two shapes onto the dry background paper.

Step Four

Use a black marker to draw… 4 legs, a tail, two ears, *optional horns.
