Preschool Flower Art Project

Project Objective

Using multiple tools, teach young artists to create a flower composition.

Loosely outline an little artists’ hand and cut it out to make an abstract flower shape. Use a marker and glue stick to complete the composition.

Step One

Draw a ‘U’ shape below the hand. Then wavy lines above the fingers.

Step Two

Cut on the hand outline.

Step Three

On the background page draw a dot to help guide the artist’s line to become a flower stem.

Step Four

Glue the flower shape on top of the stem.

Step Five

Draw oval-like shapes on either side of the stem to represent leaves.
