It’s the mission of Art to Remember to Support & Promote Art Education and our team loves working towards that daily. We also enjoy supporting other great causes, so once a year our team spends a day giving back to the community. This year, we lent our time to Outside the Box in Indianapolis.

Outside the Box (OTB) supports more than 350 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They offer many routes for individualized growth in curriculum-based day programs, Studio OTB (creative arts), and employment services. From conception in 2008 to now occupying over 14,000 square feet of space, Outside the Box has grown to an amazing and innovative organization worthy of all the praise.

This year, OTB was selected as the beneficiary of Indy’s 100 Men Who Cook event. The funds from the event will help OTB expand and serve more individuals in the greater Indianapolis area.

The Art to Remember team helped OTB prepare for the event by cleaning over 200 bottles and making 150 paper flowers, which will be used as centerpieces. While we were there, we also cleaned and organized several areas and touched up a mural. Our team loved this opportunity to give back to the community.

OTB is a fabulous organization and if you are in the Indy area and looking to donate your time or resources, give them a call! OTBOnline.org, (317) 253-6658, kmays@otbonline.org
