The Art to Remember Program Coordinators love working with and learning more about you during the school fundraiser, so we thought that you may want to know more about them as well. Today, we’ll meet Rachel Goar.
Rachel started working at Art to Remember a little over five years ago and this fall she joined the team full time as a Program Coordinator. Rachel said “I love the people I work with and our mission. I consider myself blessed to work for such a great company.”
When Rachel isn’t at work, she loves to stay active and be outside. “I’d say I’m the happiest and most at peace when I’m doing something outdoors. I love trail hiking or riding my bike. Fresh air and sunshine are two things I couldn’t live without.” Rachel completed her first Sprint Triathlon last year. “It was one of the most exhilarating moments of my life. It’s slightly addicting; I plan on signing up again this year!”
Rachel has two dogs, Brixton and Livy. “They are my little shadows. They love walking trails, going for bike rides and riding around in the car. They would love to come to work with me if they could!”
Music and TV comedies are favorites of Rachel’s as well. She loves all types of music, although her guilty pleasure is listening to boy bands like N’Sync and Backstreet Boys. And Rachel loves to laugh so she likes to watch The Big Bang Theory and reruns of The Office and Parks and Rec.
We truly want to make you feel like a part of the team when you partner with us – a team that is working towards the goal of raising more money for art education than ever before.
