RESOURCES + MATERIALS
- Washable markers
- Black Sharpie
- Black crayon
- Draw a horizon line across your page. Place several rectangles along the top of the line. Fill the rectangles with shapes to represent windows and doors. Fill the buildings with a black Sharpie marker.
- Use washable markers to create the sky. When a color is used, it is repeated in the lower half of the image. This is creating a reflection in the water.
- When the sky and water is filled with color, a black crayon will be used to create the reflection of the buildings below the horizon line.
- Brush water below the horizon line. Start with the lightest colors first and work out to the darkest colors. Rinse your brush often to keep the colors bright.
